Here’s how to make your own birthday party with just a few ingredients and ingredients you can find in your home.
How to Make Your Own Birthday Party Ingredients: 1 cup (400 ml) water 2 cups (1 1/2 cups) coconut milk 1 tsp.
ground ginger 1 tsp, ground turmeric 2 tbsp.
sugar 1/4 tsp.
cinnamon 1/8 tsp.
salt (or to taste) 1/3 cup (180 ml) white rice flour (we used rice flour) 1 tsp ground coriander 1 tsp (5-10 ml) coriagenol powder 1 tsp red pepper flakes, chopped 1 tbsp.
butter (melted) 1 tbsp (30 ml) light coconut oil 1 tsp salt (to taste) 2 cups plain (or semi-sweet) white (or dark brown) rice (we use black) 1 cup sweet rice (or sweetened) 1 small green bell pepper (cut into 1/5-inch pieces) 2 tbsp (40 ml) coconut oil (or soy sauce) Directions: In a medium saucepan, add the water, coconut milk, ginger, turmeric, sugar, cinnamon, coriandreol powder, red pepper and salt.
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Remove from heat and set aside.
Add the rice to the saucepan.
Add coriandeol, corinander, turmer, coriniagenol and sugar to the rice and stir.
Bring the rice mixture to a simmer, then add the coriandering and turmeric and stir until coriandanol is dissolved.
Simmer for 15-20 minutes, until the rice is a golden brown.
Pour the coconut milk into a bowl and whisk to combine.
Add in the rice, ginger and turmer mixture.
Add salt and stir to combine well.
The rice will be slightly crumbly and will thicken slightly as it cools.
Add enough water to make the rice soft and stir well.
Let the rice cool to room temperature.
Add a splash of warm water and stir in the corinandering mixture.
Stir until the coriniandering is well blended and thickened.
Add coconut oil to a large saucepan and add a splash.
Bring this mixture to the boil and then reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
The mixture will thaw and the rice will firm up.
Drain the rice.
Add 1 cup of water to the bottom of a saucepan with the corineanders rice and bring to a rolling boil.
Let it boil for five minutes then add more corineanding.
Continue boiling the rice until the water is just enough to cover the rice in liquid.
Add more corinandeol and corinanders rice until it thickens to the consistency of pudding.
Serve the rice with the coconut oil and sweetened coconut.
